The nightmare of all singles and the obsession of the housewives of the whole world could soon be just a vague memory. Chinese designer Jeffrey Leung created, for the moment just conceptually, “Light Launder”, a high speed washing machine, able to clean clothes in only 20 seconds without using water or detergents. The idea of this futuristic washing machine is that, using TiO2 (Titanium Dioxide Photocatalyst) and a UV-C lamp, clothes, enterd dirty, come out clean. Light Launder, due to his tubular shape, enable a 360° wash. It also contains an infrared scanner that collects all the useful information to program the washing process automatically.
