A conceptual and futuristic collection lies behind the spectacular images of Willa dei Misteri, the fall/winter 2013 by designer
Kamila Gawronska-Kasperska immortalized in these shots by photographer Jacek Kolodziejski. Kamila is part of a new generation of promising Polish designers that are making their way into the fashion world. A series of deconstructed dresses, with a thin palette of colors (white, black and red), with a single geometric pattern and wrapping and draped silhouettes that remind me of the Orientale tradition’s kimono. True inspiration of the collection is the Polish artist Jerzy Nowosielski, known for his religious themes paintings, with Byzantine and Orthodox subjects, who has also produced a series dedicated to the discovery of a mysterious villa in Pompei that housed a secret sect, in which were found frescoes with martyr-sex ceremony scenes.
