Jena.Theo spring/summer 2013

Another of the amazing findings of Who’s Next was Jena.Theo, a brand founded in 2002 by designers Jenny Holmes and Dimitris Theocharidis, respectively English and Greek, that melt their backgrounds, cultural and not, in their collections. Dimitris shows an aptitude for the pursuit of detail, while Jenny loves to build shapes and volumes. The stylistic turning point came in 2011 when the artist O.Two joins the team, and from that moment the brand is characterized by bold prints. In the spring/summer collection 2013 prevails an oriental inspiration, evident not only in prints and shapes, which in some cases are reminiscent of revisited kimonos, but also for the use of Japanese denim fabrics.
