Dario Scapitta jewels

Dario Scapitta is an Italian designer, born in Valencia, the heart of Italian goldsmith’s art. In this city Dario discovers and cultivates his passion for jewelry and crafts, a tradition from which he distances when it comes to experimenting with trends, colors, and especially materials. His sculptural works of jewelry distinguish not only for the minimalistic shape and the modern design, but also for the use of nylon, a durable yet flexible material, extremely versatile, that, manipulated with a 3D technology, becomes light and pleasant to the touch, easy to wear. The collections that struck me the most are “Snake”, with massive and rounded shapes and patterns created by vertical incisions, and “Sparkling”, a cascade of circles of different sizes, that reminds me of random compositions of marine corals or soap bubbles. Each collection includes necklace, bracelet and ring, all available in different colors and sizes.
