Toys in the USSR

Iconic socialist campaigns, word games and cartoon characters are the characteristics of the posters designed by the South African artist A. Hadeda. An ironic, modern and digital illustrated version of the campaigns that everyone remembers, with slogans in support of the former Soviet Union in the years of regime. Parodies who see different cartoon characters from our childhood replacing the real protagonists, from the socialist version of Papa Smurf (S.M.U.R.F. – Socialist Men Under a Red Father) to Babar in red suit.
