The artist that we present today is Robert Bradford, from London. He is a sculptor and painter, but the works that have earned the galleries around the world (London, Bristol, New York and soon Paris, Amsterdam and Bangkok), are these sculptures created entirely with old toys, especially plastic (but on the site, you can also see some with plush animals). This activity begins for Robert in 2004, and after many experiments, he’s able to find the right method of construction, screwing the plastic parts directly on a wood framework, using his skills as a sculptor. The intent is to create an imposing structure that makes sense in its totality, but which contains many small objects, with its own history, that people enjoy to recognize and give rise to childhood memories and moments spent with their children.
