Plastic is forever

Barbara de Vries is a jewelry designer, all produced with a very particular material. Her creations are born after a thorough search on the beaches of pieces of plastic worn and consumed by waves, sun and salt water, that she turns in particular and colorful jewels. Not only a successful example of eco-design and creative recycling, but also a way to convey an important message: plastic is a highly polluting and non-biodegradable material and, if not properly disposed will affect our ecosystem forever. Hence the name of the collection, “Plastic is forever”.
