L1 floor lamp

For the usual column dedicated to the lighting design, today we show “L1″: a floor lamp conceived by Canadian designer Kyle Thacker in collaboration with Maxine Kim, Paul Methot, Jesse Kim, Xavier Yee and Sarah Fung. A solution with a minimal design developed with the main objective of blend and merge in the surrounding furnishings, becoming part of the environment and meet the different needs of users. A concept that extends its functionality beyond the single lighting, in fact taking advantage of extra space, create a small and elegant library, which allows the storage and exhibition of books and magazines.
