Boxes on stilettos

I’m fascinated by projects which seek to give a second life to objects, just like the wonderful and amazing series of consoles and tables created by designers Mathieu Maingourd and Martin Lévêque from French studio M&Mdesigners. Four simple and common metal containers, cases and tool boxes, repaired, assembled, raised on four wooden legs and painted with plain colors. Objects that with the passing of time have become old, unused and neglected, are now erected on a pedestal and turned into pieces of furniture with a modern design and unique character.
