Spaced out by Emma Mulholland

You must have all heard about the theory that the pyramids were actually built by aliens. These speculations are the basis of the collection “Spaced out” by the Australian designer Emma Mulholland, mixing prints and patterns that lead to the world of ancient Egypt and aliens, depicted according to the typical iconography. A collection that seems to come straight out from the 80s and 90s, a period from which Emma also take inspiration for the research of sihouettes and materials. Holographic fabrics, glitters, neon colors, graphic prints: elements that bring to my mind the years of my childhood and adolescence, between a Spice Girls’ video and an episode of my favorite TV shows.
