Jane Chischilly sculpture

I came across this sculpture of “The Vision of the Winged Goddess – a Spirit of the Air” by artist Jane Chischilly. Jane explains that the sculpture represents the spirits of air and light. It is completely handmade and was created without using any moulds, which I think is remarkable. I love the delicate colouring of the piece which really brings out the ethereal themes of air and light and the sculpture makes me think of goddesses from Greek mythology, of winged messengers, and the representation of feminine power and artistic endeavour.
