Hoop lamp

Today, for the usual Friday column dedicated to lighting design, we show you “Hoop”, the lamp created by Italian designer Niccolò Adolini and the Brazilian-born designer Daniel Simonini, the creative duo that makes up the Milan based studio ADOLINI+SIMONINI ASSOCIATI. An solution ideal both as a desk lamp or as a bedside lamp, a structure with a contemporary design featuring a palette of two soft solid colors, finishes which can enhance the elegance of the lines and differentiate the two elements that compose it, in a game of shapes and colors that bring to my mind the silhouette of a mushroom. A cylindrical asymmetric base made ​​of metal and a circular “hat” in ABS capable, thanks to the latest generation LED integrated inside it, to generate high-quality light and diffuse brightness in a unique way. Like other designers that we showed you these days, they will present their works during the Milan Design Week, a major event for insiders and all design lovers.
