I don’t really follow styles and trends dictated by fashion and brands, in fact I can proudly say I’m the antithesis of fashion, but thanks to Monica that keeps me updated on the fashion world and on cool and trendy words, I know about the existence of characters that tend to be bearded (I think only men, but I’m not too sure) who dress like lumberjacks, with a faux vintage and shabby style and like to call themselves “hipsters”. Today I wink my artistic eye to fashion and I show you “Fauna Hipsters”, the series of drawings created by the Philippine artist Bernard Salunga. A lion, a bear, a deer, an owl and a panda, animals adorned with typically hipster accessories and clothes represented in awesome and curious illustrations that make fun of this latest trend.
