But we shouldn’t be influenced by the atmosphere, nor from the site written in French: Betina Lou is a brand designed and produced entirely in Canada. The designer Marie-Eve Emond creates a romantic 60′s/70′s mood for the fall/winter 2013 collection, outfits that look to the past but with a modern twist. Minidresses with contrast piping, high-waisted skirts, woolen tops with short sleeves, small sweaters. Tartan is the only pattern, in the classic version or in a less invasive small checked with dark base. A perfect collection for those who love to be inspired by vintage without becoming a victim of it, avoiding a “mothballs” look.
