Moi Multiple was the second great discovery made on Tuesday, February 28 at the N-U-De New Upcoming Designers fashion show. Behind this multiplicity hides Anna Francesca Ceccon, multitasking designer and cool hunter, which since years divides her time between her brand founded in 2008, a professorship at the IED European Institute of Design and working as a freelancer for several international brands. For the autumn/winter 2012 Moi Multiple presents a woman who gets a lot from the male wardrobe, from the frame of tuxedo jackets, shirts, and the courageous and winning choice to present her models with flat laced oxford shoes, accompanied by colored socks (idea to copy, although I fear the effect it could do on my own not very high figure). A woman who, while playing with her androgynous side, doesn’t give up femininity, but without falling into banality: the most classic silhouettes, inspired by the ’50s, or high-waisted sheath dresses, are surprising for the choice to use leather. Black, emblematic color of the winter wardrobe, is pleasantly interrupted by neon accents, from the red and acid green, also in strong contrast with the pastel colors of the aforementioned stockings. Among the collections seen, this is definitely one of those that struck me most.
