Bisera

Bisera

Jan 31 2012, 6:00 pm 0 Marco Russo

Some of the photographs of the Italian artist Paolo Carta, taken from the photography project “Bisera“. Men dressed in sheepskins masked by “sa bisera”, (a black mask in alder or pear wood) that wander in suffering, in surreal situations and dramatic atmosphere. A grotesque, magical and ancestral visual journey between the traditional culture and the ancient masks of the Carnival in Sardinia.
