FearLess project

FearLess project

The South African designers Daniel Ting Chong and Jordan Metcalf are the authors of “FearLess”, a work of art, a series of design elements, but above all, a project created to generate reflection. The weapons used for criminal acts in South Africa, both by criminals as by the police, become huge wooden boards and transformed into works to hang on the walls and contemplate, thinking of how crime and fear now condition the daily life of thousands of people, of how who owns such weapons can feel almost invincible, “fearless”, in fact, but also how, out of their context, return to be just objects, with no power, and can inspire less fear, “fear less”.
