Canoa bench

Sometimes (actually, most of the times) I feel really lucky I came across a new career as a design journalist and gave up my designer days – they’re way behind me. I see some many good things, materials handled beautifully, that I know I couldn’t do better. And this is one case: this cute, small and straightforward wooden outdoor stool designed by Fernanda Brunoro, a Brazilian designer based in London. She has been developing furniture for a quite a few years now, and I have always been attracted to her work. The clean lines, the neat aesthetics. It’s just my style!
