Everybody knows Batman, the cartoon character created by Bob Kane and published by DC Comics, the Dark Knight, the masked hero that, from its very beginning in May 1939, made people revalue the image of the downtrodden “flying rats “. Turkish designer Tan Kanbay created Bat-umbrella, a concept whose shape is inspired just by bats. An original structure, that once opened recalls the animal in flight and, when not in use, can be stored in the typical upside down position. From today, you’ll be ready to wage war against crime … or at least against the rain.
