WoodConcrete chair

Anita Boldog graduated last year with an innovative idea of floating islands made out of concrete and founded her own studio, AB Concrete Design. Working with this material she fall in love with the wide range of possibilities concrete gives her, since then she has more ideas then time to make them into a product. One of them was always concrete furniture. WoodConcrete chair is the beginning piece of a series using wood and concrete together. Marrying different qualities always creates something new and unique, organic and inorganic function well together in this chair. The innovative idea behind was to let the concrete flow through the wooden frames, forming a natural connection between the two materials. The end product is lightweight, cozy and the beech wood harmonizes with the shade of concrete.
