Turtle folding chair

Feb 20 2013, 10:30 am 0 Marco Russo

A chair inspired by camping stools and canvas chairs, created by Berlin based designer Marco Ziegler. A solution for the sustainable furnishings characterized by an attractive design, simple and essential, produced through the use and recovery of recycled materials, PET plastic bottles. The folding chairs “Turtle” consist of a frame in beech wood and by a backrest and a seat made of felt, elements that through two different processing techniques and mixtures of PET Felt, assume different characteristics. The first, hard, resistant and robust, especially designed to best support your back and improve your posture, the second, soft, fits comfortably to the body and its flexibility ensures a fast and easy folding. The images in the photogallery are by Martin Patze.
