Kamenskakononova fall/winter 2013

The fall/winter 2013 collection by brand Kamenskakononova, founded by designers Natalia Kamenska and Olesya Kononova, born after a trip to Nepal, Tibet and a holiday in the Carpathian Mountains of Ukraine. The two designers start from the analysis of structural shapes of the Asian and Ukrainians ethnic garments, revisited with silhouettes with a minimal look, but extremely spectacular and sculptural, like the corset-suits and the leather scarves, clearly inspired by the obi and kimono of the Japanese tradition. Much attention is also paid to the use of materials and textures to create a surprising tactile effect. Crystals and the lotus flower are the symbols of the whole collection, and come alive in the clothes made ​​of layers and draping of fabric.
