Block modular furniture

May 10 2013, 12:30 pm 0 Fábio França

Today I will talk about a furniture design project developed by the Portuguese designers Daniel Pera and Magda Alves Pereira for Boa Safra. Design always tries to produce simple yet very functional products, and when that goal is attained we will have a memorable and kinda desirable piece. The same happens here, where the product shape is extremely simplified, and talking about functionality, we have something that can be used with several purposes, without forgetting the aesthetically part. The materials used are oak and walnut. With Block you will have the opportunity to assemble as you want, it can be anything, from a bed table, to a storage block, a sideboard, a TV case or even a bookcase. It might even have other purposes depending on your imagination. And if you get bored, you can always rearrange Block in a whole different way, kinda like Lego blocks.
