Babula lamp

You already know that here on TheMAG Friday is the day of the lighting design. Today for the usual column we present Babula, the lamp designed by the creative team of the German studio Krools. A solution characterized by its shape, a structure inspired by the Russian souvenir for excellence, Matryoshka doll, an iconic image known throughout the world, a symbol of Russian folk art and tradition. A table lamp that sees the union of two materials, oak or blue-beech wood for the base and white porcelain for the upper part, a unique combination of warmth and white purity that through a circular hole lets out a gentle, soft and warm light. A decorative solution with a female-like silhouette, able, with its mix of materials, to spread a note of relaxing heat, ideal for modern interiors, cold and increasingly devoid of tradition.
