The Giving Tree sticky note

Mar 30 2012, 2:00 pm 0 Marco Russo

A tree trunk, multiple sheets of stickers paper used to write short messages, reminders for commitments or to use as funny bookmarks, created by Korean designer Heo Chang-Bong. Not only an alternative to the usual and boring yellow sticky note, but a playful way to show the essence of the paper, the origin of each individual sheet and sensitize people to a most efficient use of paper, equating the gradual reduction of the sheets to the deforestation taking place in the world and to the disappearance of forests. “The Giving Tree” is available in two colors, white or brown, available online from about 8 Dollars. Part of the proceeds will be donated to associations working to reforest wide areas with new trees and shrubs.
