Alessandro Mengozzi is a young Italian fashion designer. Graduated in 2009 at the prestigious Istituto Marangoni in Milan, Alessandro immediately takes a brave (at least in Italy) career as a freelancer, withuot caging his creativity at the service of some pre-existing brand. So he makes his way in the fashion world, becoming noted for a series of ornamental headdress, which also earned him a mention on Vogue. In 2010 he founded his own brand, “I am“, where he shows an excellent attitude for streetwear. For the summer 2012, Alessandro proposes a series of unisex tees; a collection that features oversize fit, asymmetries, transparency and bicolor patterns, showing the designer’s dark mood.
