Almost everyone now owns a product from the great family of Apple to choose from iPod, iPhone or iPad. Each of these tools allows you to view video files, but lacks of a base of support to avoid interfering with the touch function while playing the file. The designer Fernando Reya invented Youtoy, an affordable and easy solution to obviate this minor inconvenience. With only six wooden clothespins, Fernando has built a stable and easy to assemble support, with the potential for nearly infinite customization (the only limit is the number of colors you have and your imagination!). A simple but effective idea, showing how design can result from a simple and common object and that winning ideas don’t always need big match funding to be realized.
