Care and concern for the environment should be a fundamental part of our lives. An increasingly common practice in recycling and eco-sustainability is obtain fertilizer from organic waste in the home kitchen, which allows to significantly reduce weight and volume of solid waste, that must be transported and disposed. A biological process of decomposition and humification known as home composting (compost). The British designer James Wood, to encourage sustainability, created “Vedge”: a container, or rather a composter, which not only contains future fertilizer, but can also be used to grow a small garden right at home, without necessarily having to transfer it.
