Staples – handmade typography

The main feature that surely emerge from the work of Rafael Fagulha, design student at IADE University of Lisbon in Portugal, is creativity. As for his latest project, “Stamples font”: a work of meticulous craft art. Bent paper clips, staples handworked one by one, to form not only simple letters and numbers, but a true family of characters with their own style and identity. Undoubtedly, a font not available to be downloaded and used for digital documents, but definitely a great typographic experiment, with a strong visual impact, ingenious and skillfully executed.
