Plicare chair

Dec 06 2011, 12:00 am 0 Marco Russo

A seat created by designers Daniel Ornelas, Salvador Diaz, Leon Fernandez and Samuel Contreras, the last two are members of the “Delegación Mexicana de Diseño”, a Mexican multidisciplinary studio made of young talents who dedicate body and soul to creativity, aiming at transforming the prospects of communication and life, beyond the standards, a real design revolution. A concept inspired by the lightness of the paper, as well as the ease of processing, consisting of two elements in natural wood and a specially created set of plastic materials. A chair with a minimal design, characterized by geometric shapes, rigid lines and folds into a texture strategically placed not only to achieve an aestheticly attractive, original and modern result, but at the same time, to provide the best solution for perfect ergonomics and good comfort.
