Knit felt lamp

Knit felt lamp

Aug 26 2011, 12:00 pm 0 Marco Russo

Some months ago we reported “The dipped shoe“, a project by the industrial designers Xandy Peters. Today, for the column dedicated to lighting design, we show you a hanging lamp knitted by the same New York based designer. A lampshade that can be worn, a textile experiment characterized by a wavy surface, a plot that combines flat and relief parts to form a topographic fabric, made entirely of knitted wool. A LED lamp ready to face the coldest locations and illuminate spreading a dramatic, white and soft luminescence.

Designer: Xandy Peters
