Ampersand as Apostophe

Ampersand as Apostophe

I’m fascinated by the work of Jessica Park, creator of the brand Ampersand as Apostrophe. Her bags are made with leather from 100-year-old mail carrying duffels. But the thing that most intrigued me is the shape of these bags: thanks to a zip they turn with one gesture from maxi clutch to shoulder bag, and folding it over itself, we get another smaller cluth. The use of recycled leather gives the characteristic “used”effect and ensure that every piece is unique. Available on “Ampersand as Apostrophe” site: prices range between 625 and 680 US dollars.
