Today I show you “Woven Easy”, the chair created by London-based designer Alexander Mueller
, which will be exhibited and presented to the public in Zona Tortona during the Milan design week. A structure made of ash wood, available with a dark tint or natural finish, composed of rigid lines and an essential design. A solution characterized by the seat made with the use of a waxed cord, material that offers the right comfort and the necessary resistance, tucked into the structure through a series of holes that run along the surface and fastened by a simple knot. A piece of furniture with an intricate geometric pattern of straight lines and angular planes capable of giving rise to an interesting sense of movement, an intersection and overlapping of lines based on traditional weaving techniques reinterpreted inspiring to the works of Naum Gabos and his “Construction in Space”. The pictures find in the gallery are by Tina Engström.
