RustyCanvas light switch covers

I love these arty light switch covers by RustyCanvas (created by Ashley Fischer and Savanah Christiaens) which take something as simple and boring as a light switch or an outlet cover and turn it into something interesting. Often all a room needs to make it memorable are finishing touches and these light switch covers do just that. All of the covers are handmade and make use of repurposed materials such as vintage books, recycled switch covers, vintage maps, illustrations and vintage wallpaper. My favourites are the literary inspired light switch covers for a study but I also like the retro and indie feel of the other designs and I think that taking a fun design and adding it to a room with otherwise serious decor would be a quirky touch.
