Can you imagine a pair of porcelain shoes in your closet? Yes, you read it right, porcelain. Laura Papp young shoe designer’s diploma was a unique experiment. The strange choice of material was inspired by interesting stone surfaces and Gaudi’s Sagrada Familia. Porcelain takes of the shape of everything beautifully, giving back every little detail. The whimsical material is not as fragile as you imagine. Wedges can hold up to 160 kg, and they are light as well, because they are hollow. Their rubber sole prevents from slipping and absorbs shock. The vamp was made from genuine, smooth white leather, which enhance the rustic surface of the heels. Personally I like these, because they are remind me of icy glaciers and rocks, where they meet with fresh snow. Porcelain shoes have a certain etheral and fragile beauty, that every Cinderella could envy.
