The series of paintings that I want to show is made by the young South Korean artist Jaeyeol Han
. Beautiful works of art realized with the use of oil painting sticks on canvas, paintings that come from sketches drawn on the streets, between pedestrians, shops and cafes. Faces, characters, figures glimpsed in passing, strangers who become protagonists, objects of interest in a dynamic play of representations and abstractions. Small artworks characterized by the power of drawing and painting extensively distributed on the surface, able to channel at best the artistic tension and convey the vulnerability of the human being, evoking the pain of real life through an exciting sculptural effect.
