The name behind the brand
Aiaié is Zsanett Hegedüs, who was mesmerized by oxalis, a certain type of wood-sorrels. These little plants are very sensitive to sunlight and heat and they react with petal movements instantly. This “dance” was the inspiration for this unique collection. As a motif element that creates textures, the three leaf shape appears on each piece. This playfulness comes together with the colours of the summer 2013. Zsanett usually works as a bespoke designer, which means, she creates outfits from clients’ orders. On the Oxialis collection you can actually feel the love for her work and freedom of a creative mind. Beside the lightness of forms and shapes, it is a delicate workmanship. The triple divided structure appears in the accessories too. To add a twist to playfulness, the dresses are variable with an unexpected phenomena, magnetism. The abstract leafs could transform the dresses to every occasions. This delicate and elegant collection, for me somehow seems fairy-tale like, that every little girl dreams of, without any stereotypes.
