Today I want to show you “NUDO”, a project seen at Salone Satellite in the spaces of iSaloni 2013
, a pleasant discovery that leads us to talk again about Isabel Lecaros
, Chilean designer creator of the Rolls
, the lamps that we admired at last year’s 100%Design during the London Design Festival. NUDO, literally translated from Spanish into knot, is a hanger with an essential line, an object in line with the design philosophy of the designer who sees the use of traditional handicrafts techniques and local processing. A tubular structure made of Chilean Patagonia wood characterized by several knots made in elastic cord inserted and embedded along the surface, elements that allow through simple and intuitive gestures to hang clothes and dresses. A furnishing solution full of character, an object that collocates in space in a unique was, different, almost irreverent, it can be leaned against a wall or used as a classic free-standing coat rack with the addition of the base.
