The lamp that we show today for the usual Friday column dedicated to lighting design is “Midnight Sun”, created by the Norwegian designer Martin Nichols
. A design piece that captures the attention for the beauty of its lines and the simplicity of its shapes, soft and delicate. An intriguing structure made of glass, that exploiting the compliance of the material and the position of the bulb, seems to float, gently suspended, creating a unique image, almost magical. A solution that finds its inspiration in bright Norwegian summer nights, poetic and dreamy landscapes, where watching the horizon you can enjoy for a few moments the midnight sun floating, suspended in mid-air just above the sea line.
