Martinez Lierah spring/summer 2013

The designer duo formed by Daniel Lierah and Arturo Martinez founded the brand “Martinez Lierah” based in Paris in 2010. They shared the desire to create something new in the field of women’s ready to wear, as well as the determination to seek the beauty in the oddest things. Their style is minimal and sculptural, and is perfectly expressed in the spring/summer 2013 collection. Layerings and games of volumes differing between the upper and lower, chromatic contrasts in the strictly solid colors garments, shapes that are structured but fluid at the same time, rounded and asymmetrical cuts, never trivial. Honorable Mention to accessories: vertiginous wedges with futuristic details that, as a lover of shoes, I can only approve.
