Marta table and stool

Marta, the small line of furniture created by Italian designers Giuseppe Vinci and Pasquale Onofrio and presented in Turin during Partatissima 2013 by the studio/workshop Izmade, specializing in the production of sustainable furnishings and accessories. A coffee table and a stool united by a creative design, the result of research on the use and recovery of abandoned waste materials. Structures composed respectively of a table top and a discoidal seat in painted MDF, a solid and essential element resting on several red tubes normally used in heating, bent and stacked alternately to compose a funny pattern of stable and robust legs and supports. Attractive solutions with a shape that recalls a delicious dessert, but that basically are influenced and owe their name to a melody, or rather to a band of the Italian alternative music scene.
