Ksenia Schnaider fall/winter 2013

It’s been exactly one year since the last time we talked about them. We leave the current season aside and jump into the fall/winter 2013 with the preview of the new collection “Bodywarmer” by brand Ksenia Schnaider, formed by the duo Ksenia Marchenko and Anton Schnaider. As always, the collection is very minimal and conceptual, but not devoid of interesting ideas. The inspiration comes from the quilting, which becomes an iconic element and common thread in all the garments, from dresses, to skirts, to jackets, to t-shirts. After the success of quilting, used as thermal insulation and bodywarmer in the construction of technical clothing, Ksenia Marchenko approaches the material in a completely different way, with classic silhouettes, traditional processing techniques and use combined with high quality materials such as leather and silk. The pieces with structured shapes are soft to the touch thanks to the thermal padding, heat and soft heart of the collection.
