Haizhen Wang founded the label that bears his name in 2010, when he opened a boutique in his hometown of London, in Portobello Road. In 2012 he was awarded with the FASHION FRINGE award delivered from Christopher Bailey, creative director of one of the most deeply rooted reality of Britain in the world of fashion, Burberry. A distinctive style that reinterprets the classic British tradition through a cutting-edge design, influenced by contemporary and feminist culture. The focal point of the fall/winter 2013 collection are the sensational outerwear garments: multiple layers of fabric to form sculptural silhouettes. Pieces who take different shapes and functionalities thanks to the zippers, elements functional to the cloths’ strucutre, creating at the same time the strong aesthetic details. Interesting headpiece, halfway between hats and masks.
