Furansu spring/summer 2013

Feb 20 2013, 8:30 am 0 Monica Bogliolo

K Lai, designer who grew up in California, and Annie Ching, who completed her studies in the Netherlands, are the founders of the Hong Kong based brand Furansu. The style of their collections is positively influenced by the various displacements of the two, finding the right balance between a typical oriental aesthetic and a more western taste. In the spring/summer 2013 the colors are the real protagonists, emphasized at most by the extremely clean and minimal lines. The color block characterizes the whole collection, with no patterns and leaving space to plain colors instead.
