Evgenia Popova spring/summer 2014

With the spring/summer 2014 Evgenia Popova launches the first collection of the label that takes her name. Born and raised in Bulgaria, Evgenia moves for studies in Spain, where she graduated at the Escuela Superior de Diseno y Moda Felicidad Duce in Barcelona, and later in London, at the London College of Fashion. Currently she’s working between London and Sofia. Her aesthetic is minimalist and clean, with structured and sculptural lines characterized by geometry, which is also reflected in the patterns inspired by traditional Bulgarian embroidery, mixed with modern elements processed through digital design. The entire collection comes to life from the silhouette of the shirt, that the designer reinterprets in a multitude of garments. The color palette is sparse and predominantly white, all materials are sustainably produced in Switzerland and the buttons specially created for every piece of clothing.
