I admired the artworks (because it would be simplistic to just call them shoes) of the Hungarian designer Julia Kaldy
at Who’s Next
in Paris, where she presented her latest collection “Construct”, inspired by the negative space. A geometric network of lines, parallel that meet drawing spider’s web patterns that decorate the upper or which in some cases form the structure itself of the shoe. A series of shoes and bags with clean lines, a minimalism which also results in the choice of a thin palette, made up only of black and white.
