Chimaera by Leyre Valiente

We present Chimaera, the magnificent collection of Spanish designer Leyre Valiente. A metaphorical journey that begins at the state of the fetus, the image of purity and simplicity, to become chimaera, the beautiful yet complicated figure of the adult being. He grows building a shell around himself to protect from the events and traumas that life forces him to undergo, a shell the designer choses to represents as a kind of armor that envelops the body, allowing the chimaera to reborn. A series of dresses with spectacular silhouettes, inspired by animal anatomy and evolution of the human bone structure into something majestic and with strong visual impact.
