Brush and Lens

Today I would like to show you “Brush and Lens”, a collection of nine sumptuous photographic prints resulting from a collaboration between two artists, the British painter Simon Claridge and the photographer Marc Lilius. Works of art with a strong visual impact, colorful representations of the substance, the result of a two-handed project that has first seen the creative expression taking shape with full-bodied and vibrant brushstrokes in oil colors, and then, still fresh and wet, depicted with meticulous perfection in macro-photography shots, in an amazing union of painting and photography.
