Bedside Victoria

Jul 15 2013, 8:30 am 0 Marco Russo

The solution that I show you today is Victoria, the bedside table created by the designers of the multi-disciplinary French studio Hekla and built by the carpenter and cabinet-maker Julien Ladroue. A piece of furniture that is inspired by the gold rush, to the dreams and promises of wealth that characterized the mid-nineteenth century and made Australia a power in mining industry. A charming structure made of wood veneer in light oak, a bedside table with a drawer and a large open storage compartment, able to offer and facilitate a direct access from the bed. Eye-catching details and characterizing finishes, such as the aluminum coating with gold effect, together with a structural design that is both functional and stylish, making it a unique piece of furniture to entrust your “golden” dreams before falling asleep.
