Wren fall/winter 2012

The brand Wren was born in 2007 thanks to the American Melissa Coker. At the time, Melissa was into editorial and has no fashion design studies behind, but the love for fashion and the desire to create something different from what was usually found in stores, however, pushed her to undertake this adventure. The brand name comes from Jenny Wren, a character in Dickens’ novel “Our Mutual Friend”, a dress maker for dolls with a split personality, which is reflected in the eclectic and diverse production of Wren. The fall/winter 2012 collection has a vaguely retro and “indie” touch, we find many dresses and skirts, and especially much color, for a variety of dresses totally usable and easy to wear in everyday life.
